TrackSense Inc. was conceived and created in January 1999 by two former Conrail employees, Larry Slater and Craig Kerner, to meet the engineering and FRA safety training needs of the railroad industry, railroad contractors, and private industry rail shippers.

Larry Slater has been employed in the railroad industry since 1972, and has worked as a Track Foreman, Track Supervisor, Engineer Track, System Maintenance of Way Instructor, and Manager of Engineering Training.

Craig Kerner has been employed in the railroad industry for over twenty-five years, and has worked as a Track Foreman, Track Inspector, Asst. Supervisor, Roadmaster, and System Maintenance of Way Instructor.

Both of us are members of AREMA (American Railway Engineering and Maintenance of Way Association) and are active on Committee 24, Education and Training. Our many years in the rail industry, coupled with our training background, gives us the unique ability to be able to design effective training programs that take complex railroad and government regulations and present them to your employees in a

" Common Sense " , relaxed format that ensures maximum learning and retention, and most importantly makes for a safer, more productive employee.

All of our training programs are instructor led by a qualified former railroad trainer, and can be given at a training location of your choice. We can provide all needed training materials, if required, and we can also arrange for actual field training at your facility.

Our goal is to provide our customers with the most up to date, effective training available, with the least disruption to your business at a reasonable cost!
